BeautifulFreedom3 is an original mixed media piece on an upcycled bulletin board. The piece highlights the beauty of our blackness, broad nose, full lips and shaved head, which are often ridiculed and dismissed as unattractive. The expressive piece also celebrates the richness of Black cultures incorporating African Adinkra and Egyptian symbols, geometric shapes, solid black lines and impressions of graffiti to create a vibrant exhibition. The one eye of the muse symbolizes divine oversight. Add this original piece to any space to promote a bold sense of pride and authenticity.
