City Shapes is an original mixed media digital collage piece 24x36 inches on heavy duty matte paper created in 2023. The piece is inspired by Jeanty’s upbringing in Brooklyn, NY and the urban landscape of tall buildings tightly knitted to form vibrant communities. Growing up in a fourth-floor apartment, the views from Jeanty’s childhood windows made a major impact on his sense of community, culture and behavior of the people which later influenced his artwork.
